Dr. Tacquice Davis
Dr. Tacquice Wiggan Davis has served as an educator, administrator and consultant in higher education for over 18 years. She is currently the Assistant Vice President for Inclusive Excellence at The College of New Jersey. She earned her B.A. from Ramapo College of New Jersey; M.A. from Kean University; and her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Western Carolina University. She has received many awards and honors. She is humbled to be named Greek Student Engagement Advisor at Western Carolina University four years in a row; 2017-2020, L.E.A.D. Highest Honor for Service; 2018 and 2020, Student Advocate award 2015, 2017,and 2019 and many more. In 2022, Dr. Tacquice Wiggan Davis Impact Award was established in her honor and presented to an outstanding student leader at Western Carolina University. She has authored several articles and books with a focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Improvement Science. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Of all the accomplishments over the span of her life, her greatest one to date is being a mother to Kinley, Jones, and Israel Davis. When away from work, Dr. Davis loves to travel, indulge in amazing cuisine, and spend time laughing with friends and family. Known for her ability to lead and infectious spirit, she prides herself on her willingness and desire to be used as an instrument for change.
